Mr. Romanoff performs three different types of shows:

Songs & Sounds

Presents original singer/songwriter material that is in turn funny, touching, and uplifting.    Story songs about relationships, family, pets, and the foibles of contemporary life celebrate the human condition. Songs are interspersed with colorful instrumental solos on guitar, and mandolin. The sound of the ukulele is featured in each set, as well as some acapella singing backed up with hand drumming.

Songs of Spirit 

Presents original songs exploring spiritual themes such as:  gratitude, hope, love, loss friendship, aging, acceptance, and transcendence.  . Songs address universal spiritual themes and will appeal to thoughtful persons of any religious or philosophical persuasion.

Classical Guitar

Mr. Romanoff has written more that fifty pieces for solo guitar and plays an expansive repertoire of classical works as well. He studied guitar with Leonid Bolotine of the Mannes School of Music and Jerry Willard of SUNY Stony Brook.  Concerts sample music from many time periods and styles (Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Spanish, 20th Century) and showcase his original pieces. Works by the following composers are currently included on concert programs: Bach, Frescobaldi, Buxtehude, Torroba, Ponce, Sor, Guiliani, Duarte, Tarrega, Dowling, and Mozart.
